Clean-ish comedy guaranteed to not mortify his daughter
Bainbridge Island based narrative standup and improvisor
Get Show Alerts →There's unfortunately a very good chance Erik Horn's daughter can access the internet and find this site, so it's very important to Erik that there isn't anything on here — or in his material — that would mortify her and/or him. This has been his goal since getting back on the "comedy horse" after a 10-year hiatus, which is suspiciously the same amount of time his daughter has been alive.
A good amount of his stories and jokes revolve around his life, which very much revolves around his family. He runs all his material past his daughter to get her approval, which she sometimes gives — "as long as she is anonymous." (His wife also requests to be anonymous.)
Erik spends his days as a Creative Director and co-founder working in immersive media — VR, AR, XR, 3D, LBE, and all the other acronyms that confuse people at parties. When he was younger and cooler, he was a commercial and music video director, and is the co-director and writer of the feature-length, micro-budget "slapstick noir" film Noogie's Time To Shine.
His earlier comedy adventures were in Austin, TX — improv, sketch, and the show he co-created Unsuspectingly Sponsored By, which played Moontower Comedy Festival, Austin Sketch Fest, Out of Bounds, and SF Sketchfest.
